Key Facts

When and where is the ACE conference?

The ACE conference will be held at Hotel Arts in Barcelona, Spain, from January 10 to January 12, 2023.

Who can attend the ACE conference and what is included?

Selected ACE core performers can attend the ACE conference. The event is not open to the general public. As part of the participation Algorand Foundation covers economy airfare, transportation to and from the Barcelona airport, overnight accommodations at the Hotel Arts for the nights of January 10, 11 and 12 as well as most meals (as part of the conference).

Will the talks be recorded or live streamed?

All talks will be recorded and added to the Algorand Foundation YouTube channel soon. Live streaming is not available.

Can I bring additional guests to the ACE conference?

Additional guests cannot be accommodated.

Traveling to and from

I need special accommodations at the hotel. Whom can I reach out to about that?

I am a graduate student and will share a room, how can I find out who my sharing partner is?

Please email the ACE team at ace@algorand.foundation to find out more about your room assignment.

What time do I need to arrive and when should I plan to depart?

All attendees must be at the conference venue on January 10 by 6:00 p.m. The conference will end on January 12 in the late afternoon.

How can I make travel arrangements?

All travel must be booked via our travel agency VIAP.Travel. All travel must booked in economy class. You do not need to make reservations at Hotel Arts for the nights of January 10, 11 and 12.

Can I book my own travel and request reimbursement after?

Please do not book your own travel and request a reimbursement after the conference. There is no reimbursement process in place. All travel must be booked via our travel agency VIAP.Travel. Transportation to and from your home to your local airport is not included and Algorand Foundation cannot reimburse for this expense.

Can our graduate students present at the ACE conference?

We have limited slots for short graduate student talks available. These slots have been assigned at this point.
